This policy describes how Find It (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use
our mobile application and related services. Please read it together with any
in-app notices. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who this applies to
Find It helps users search for products and connect with participating stores. Store
owners and administrators may use additional signed-in features. This policy covers
all of those uses unless we say otherwise in a specific feature.
2. Information we may collect
- Account and contact: phone number and verification codes used to
sign in or verify identity (processed through our backend and, where enabled, SMS or
phone authentication providers such as Firebase or Twilio).
- Location: approximate or precise location when you allow it, to
show nearby stores and distance-based search. You can revoke location permission in
your device settings.
- Search and activity: search queries, selected radius or filters,
and related usage needed to operate features (for example, showing results and
search history where available).
- Photos and camera: images you choose to capture or upload (for
example, prescription-related search flows). We use them only as needed to provide
the feature you requested.
- Microphone: only if you use voice search; audio is processed to
text on the device where supported, not stored by us as a recording unless we
explicitly say otherwise in the product.
- Push notifications: if you opt in, a push token and related
metadata may be processed so we can deliver alerts (for example, store-related
updates). You can turn off notifications in system settings.
- Device and diagnostics: basic technical data (such as app version,
OS type, and error logs) to keep the service secure and reliable.
3. How we use information
We use the above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Find It;
- Authenticate users and prevent abuse or fraud;
- Show relevant stores, products, and notifications you have asked for;
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. Sharing
We may share information with:
- Participating stores and partners as needed to fulfill searches,
requests, or store-side workflows you start in the app;
- Service providers that host our infrastructure, send messages, or
provide authentication or push delivery (for example, cloud hosting, Firebase, or
similar vendors), under contractual safeguards;
- Legal and safety: regulators, law enforcement, or others when
required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information as commonly understood in privacy laws.
5. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal,
accounting, or reporting requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational
measures to protect data; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or
restrict certain processing, or to object or port data. Contact us at the email below.
You may also control permissions (location, camera, microphone, notifications) in your
device settings.
7. Children
Find It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your
region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you
believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International transfers
Our servers and providers may be located outside your country. Where required, we use
appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and
update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the
revised policy, to the extent allowed by law.
